The Department of Administration is saddled with the onerous task of ensuring that the administrative machinery of the hospital runs very efficiently to the end of optimal and effective utilization of the human and material resources to actualize the vision and mission of the centre. The department has the largest staff of 156 senior staff and 224 junior staff distributed across several units including establishment unit,  administration, information and records unit (AIRU), registry unit, Information, communication and technology (ICT), planning research and statistics unit (PRS), training/industrial relations unit, pension unit, public relations unit and legal unit.

To play a central role in the provision of efficient administrative and human resources services in the centre.

5-year  targets
To have a functional administrative building that would accommodate all members of staff in the department.
Expansion of the current scope of services in the department to meet the expansion needs of the hospital.

To achieve maximum compliance on computer literacy level among member of staff in the department.
To create a good climate for effective industrial relations.
To establish and maintain a robust private-public partnership that would impact on health care delivery in the centre.
